Non-invasive cardiology
Our Cardiologists use state-of-the-art equipment to examine and record the nature and activities of your heart. The machines help to determine heart related conditions for the right possible treatment. We offer the following services:
Electrocardiogram
(ECG)
ECG helps our doctors record the electrical activity of your heart and determine whether the electrical phase in your heartbeat is normal. The procedure allows our doctors to discover problems such as irregular heartbeat and an impending heart attack.
Echocardiogram
(ECHO)
To help you maintain a good heart, we use a scanning machine to see the heart and examine how it functions. It helps our doctors see whether the size and shape of your heart are normal, how hard your heart is pumping, the correct functionality of the valves and whether blood is leaking backwards. The procedure allows our doctors to discover problems like blood clots in your heart’s chambers, problems with your heart’s lining or the blood vessels, as well as other anomalies in your heart.
Holter Monitoring and Ambulatory ECG
Both ambulatory electrocardiography and holter monitoring are portable ECGs that you can wear for a period of time specified by our Cardiologists. The ambulatory electrocardiography is worn on your upper arm while the holter is attached to your torso. Like the ECG machine, each garget allows our Cardiologists to record the electrical activity of your heart while you go about your day to day activities. The results will record any anomalies in your heart and help our Cardiologists determine the best possible treatment for you.
Exercise Cardiac Stress Test (ECST)
This test involves walking or running on the spot on a treadmill specially designed to record and monitor the functioning of your heart.
It records your ECG while simultaneously monitoring other related aspects such as your blood pressures, heart rate and breathing to determine how quickly or slowly you become tired and how much stress is being placed on your heart.
The results can help our Cardiologists identify and diagnose heart disease and other heart anomalies including an impending heart attack.
